Bhatukamma Festival in Bay Area California
Telangan Cultural Association (http://telanganaculture.org ) which is working to preserve and promote Telangan culture across the globe is organizing a mega event in Bay Area California USA.
In a Press Releas the honourable chairman for foundation committee of TCA Mr.Vijay Chavva has announced that TCA is organizing a mega Bhatukamma festival in lake Elizabeth park , Fremont on 29th Sept 2007 from 11 AM to 5 PM with the help of local telugu people and organizations. Well known Film Actress Smt Vijay Shanti has been invited for this mega event.TCA is expecting about 1000 people to participate in this unique event where children get to learn age old tradition of telugus and Telangana.
Vijay Chavva has said that there will be free lunch in Telangana Style and every one is welcome to participate, he also said that TCA is neither associated nor connected with Telangana Movement and it is a purely cultural organization aimed at preserving and spreading Telanganaa Culture across globe.
